About the lawyer
Holly joined Abramson, Brown & Dugan in 2003, having worked for three years as a law clerk for the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Holly brings her knowledge of the New Hampshire judiciary to her practice, representing patients affected by negligent medical care in New Hampshire. Since joining the firm, Holly has represented many victims of medical malpractice in a wide range of medical errors and has gained specialized experience in filing lawsuits against numerous commercial methadone clinics in our state that use victims of the opioid crisis.
Holly is a native of New Hampshire and received her law degree from the University of New Hampshire Law School (formerly the Franklin Pierce Law Center). After graduating from law school, she worked as a lawyer for two years on the New Hampshire Supreme Court and for one year worked as a lawyer for the Honorable Joseph Nadeau on the New Hampshire Supreme Court. Holly has been active in the legal communities of New Hampshire and the country, serving on the Board of Governors of the American Justice Association, the New Hampshire Justice Association and the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association, where she served as president from 2010 to 2012. She was also active in the New Hampshire Bar Association, served on the editorial board of the New Hampshire Bar News and the New Hampshire Bar Journal, as well as on the Gender Equality Committee. She is a member of the American Bar Foundation and the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, where she currently leads the «Promoting Legal Independence» initiative for the New Hampshire Foster Care system.
Holly has received numerous awards and accolades for her work in the New Hampshire legal community, both for representing victims of medical malpractice, and for her services to the legal profession in bar associations and professional organizations. She has been selected by US News & World Report as the ”Best Lawyer" under the Plaintiff's Medical Malpractice Act every year since 2016 and received the Plaintiff's Personal Injury Lawyer of the Year Award in 2018. Holly was also selected by New England Super Lawyers as a «Rising Star» for the Plaintiffs Medical Malpractice Act every year from 2008 to 2014. She has the highest “AV” rating from Martindale Hubbell. In 2011, she received the Robert E. Kirby Award from the New Hampshire Bar Foundation, and in 2017 she received the President's Award of the New Hampshire Justice Association.
