Denise Buda is a partner in the Medical Malpractice Defense Department at Abrams Fensterman, LLP.

Ms. Buda has 27 years of experience defending the interests of doctors and other medical professionals in a wide range of litigation. She is responsible for the protection of doctors in all cases of the medical malpractice protection firm. In addition, Ms. Buda also represents the interests of medical professionals in proceedings on professional misconduct, license restoration and moral character in the New York State Department of Education, Office of Professional Discipline; conducting hearings, preparing appeal materials and considering appeals challenging the revocation of a doctor's license. Ms. Buda also has extensive experience in general appellate practice, complex matrimonial cases, as well as in general negligence, commercial liability, product liability and real estate litigation.

Ms. Buda received her Juris doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where she was a dean's fellow, and her bachelor's degree from the City University of New York at Queens College, where she graduated with honors. She is a member of the New York Bar Association. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Buda worked as a speech therapist and taught alternative communication skills at the Helen Keller National Center for Deafblind Adolescents and Adults.
