James Boyer - Lawyer in Yakima, WA

James Boyer is a junior attorney at Abeyta Nelson Injury Law and has been involved in personal injury litigation on the plaintiff's side in Yakima since 2014. After graduating from St. Louis University Law School with a juris doctor degree, he was admitted to the bar in 2013 and soon after moved to Yakima from the Midwest. James participated in three civil trials in Yakima County, and all of them ended with the verdicts of the plaintiff. He personally initiated the FTCA lawsuit against the Yakama National Police for negligent police harassment, resulting in a six-figure settlement. In 2019, James returned more than $1.2 million to clients as a lead attorney and maintained similar results in 2020 — despite the pandemic and the complete closure of civil courts. In 2020, the National Association of Trial Lawyers named James a “40 to 40-year-old" lawyer.
