Craig S. Nuss - Lawyer in Englewood, CO

Craig S. Nuss, Co-Practice Group Leader of Burg Simpson's Construction Defect Division. His department has achieved Tier 1 status by US News and World Report (the highest position available). He was born in 1960 in Colorado.  He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1982 and graduated from the University of Denver School of Law in 1988. Mr. Nuss will begin his legal career the following year with a large Denver insurance defense company focused on construction defects and personal injury claims.  His career now focuses on representing homeowners and homeowners associations in case of construction defects.

In the past three decades, Mr. Nuss has handled more than 70 civil jury trials in state and federal courts in Colorado. He has taught many educational courses on construction defects and trial tactics.

Mr. Nuss's prominent credentials include being recognized by Martindale-Hubbell with a top Preeminent® AV rating and being a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), a prestigious, invitation-only international court lawyer organization. He has also been selected by his peers as Colorado's Super Lawyer® every year since 2007. In addition, Mr. Nuss is recognized as one of Denver's top lawyers by America's best lawyers, the national Trial Lawyers Top 100, and 5280 magazine.   Mr. Nuss is currently working as a trustee of the Colorado Bar Foundation, a charity of the Colorado Bar Association.
