Burg is donating a significant amount of free time to support nonprofits in Colorado and across the country. Burg serves on the Board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League, the Colorado Institute of Justice (CJI) and ARC Thrift. Burg helps support programs that require newborns from the Denver Health Foundation, the Southern Poverty Law Center, and more. Mr. Burg is an associate attorney for the Zrbg Pension Project – the project is designed to verify the pension benefits of Holocaust survivors.

Stephen Burg holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming and a law degree from the University of Denver. Burg is currently allowed to practice in Colorado and Arizona. He lives in Colorado with his wife Amy and two children.
