Eric R. Moran is a partner of McDonnell Boehnen Hulbert & Berghoff LLP and chairs the company's Trademark, Unfair Competition, Advertising law and Copyright Practices Group. Mr. Moran has experience in all areas of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on litigation and counseling on patent, trademark, and domain name issues. Mr. Moran's litigation experience includes district court trials, federal circuit appeals, and pre-trademark trials and appeals committees. His practice includes considerable concentration in machinery, software, electronics, communications, consumer products, injection molding technology, and has been involved in the litigation and litigation of diagnostic and medical devices.

Prior to joining MBHB, he worked for five years as an engineering consultant for the process and petrochemical industries, specializing in helping design, engineer and build your processing facility.

Apart from work, Mr. Moran can usually be found cycling along the lakeside and coaching his two sons at football and baseball fields throughout Chicago.
