Andrea M. Brody is a partner at Abrams Fensterman, LLP in the Family and Matrimonial Law Group. Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Ms. Brody worked for another well-known family law firm as a senior associate, dealing almost exclusively with family and marital affairs.

While studying at the Faculty of Law, Ms. Brody interned at Hong University. Jeffrey S. Brown at the Nassau County Superior Court Marriage Center, Hon. Conrad D. Singer in Nassau County Family Court and the Coalition against Domestic Violence. She has also represented children in cases of abuse and neglect, as well as in special immigrant cases in the Nassau and Queens Family Courts as part of the Hofstra Children's Rights Clinic.

Ms. Brody is actively involved in numerous legal organizations and associations, including: the Nassau County Bar Association, the Executive Committee of the Nassau County Women's Bar Association as President, and the American Family Law Court Panel in New York. Ms. Brody previously served as Co-chair with the Hon. Jeffrey Goodstein to the Working Group on Relations with New Lawyers and Judicial Authorities of Stephen J. Eisman. Previously, she was Co-chair of the Nassau County Bar Association's Family and Family Law Committee in 2011-2015 and a consulting member of the Nassau Law Academy in 2012-2017. Ms. Brody was the previous Chairman of the Nassau County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Committee and was a member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Bar Association as Chairman of the Young Lawyers Council. Ms. Brody is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association's Matrimonial Committee, as well as other committees within these organizations.

Ms. Brody was selected as 40 under 40 by Long Island Business News in 2018, Outstanding Woman in Law by Hofstra University Law School in 2017, 40 Stars under 40 by Star Network (The Queens Courier) in 2016 and 40 Best Under 40 by National Lawyers in 2015-2017. She has also been selected as a «Rising Star» in New York Family Law by «Super Lawyers» since 2013 and as the best lawyers «To Watch Out For» in the field of family law since 2021. She also received the Bessie Ray Geffner Memorial Award from the Nassau County Bar Association in June 2012 and the 2012-2013 Young Alumni Award from the University of Arizona Honors College.

Ms. Brody received her Juris Doctor degree from the Hofstra University School of Law, receiving a diploma for outstanding achievements in the field of child and family advocacy. Ms. Brody graduated with honors from the University of Arizona as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honorary Academic Society, as well as a scholarship of the President and Vice-Rector. Ms. Brody is admitted to practice law in New York State and the District of Columbia.
