Regular prosecution at all stages of Medicare and Medicaid appeals, including training and defending applicants in fair hearings and article 78 proceedings, provides Ms. Adamo with a unique experience. State and federal courts have certified Ms. Adamo as an expert witness in the core area of Medicaid in civil and criminal cases.

In the custody process, Ms. Adamo combines litigation skills with extensive knowledge of the Medicaid program to achieve practical results for people with disabilities. She not only represented the interests of the litigants in both contested and uncontested proceedings, but is also regularly appointed by the judge as a lawyer for alleged incapacitated persons and guardians.

Ms. Adamo frequently lectures on various topics of Medicaid, custody and estate planning. Ms. Adamo is a co-author of published articles on various issues related to maximizing Medicaid benefits. Ms. Adamo lobbied state legislatures for important Medicaid programs, advocating for the protection of New Yorkers with disabilities. She is a former co-chair of the Nassau County Bar Association's Seniors' Rights, Social Services and Health Committee. In addition, she is the co-chair of the Committee on Health Legislation of the Section of the Law of the Elderly and Special Needs of the New York State Bar Association.

Prior to joining Abrams Fensterman, Ms. Adamo worked as a legal adviser at an elite law firm on Long Island.

Ms. Adamo graduated from Arizona State University, Manga magna cum laude, and Touro Law School, cum laude. At Touro Law School, Ms. Adamo was a teacher, a court clerk scholarship recipient, a merit scholarship recipient, and a member of the controversial court team.

Ms. Adamo has been appointed a New York Super-Lawyer in the Field of Seniors Law since 2020, and only 5% of lawyers in the New York Metro area have earned this distinction. Ms. Adamo was selected as a «Rising Star» in the field of Seniors Law in New York by «Super Lawyers» from 2014 to 2018.
