David Abernethy Ong - Lawyer in Englewood, CO

David Abernethy Ong is a junior associate at Berg Simpson's Mass Delinquency Litigation Division. David focuses his practice mainly on agrochemical products, defective medical devices, and pharmaceutical litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for two civil litigation firms in Denver, where he represented clients in a variety of practice areas, including construction defect litigation, contract disputes, personal injury, workers' compensation, and unfair insurance.

David graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 2017. While studying at the University of Colorado School of Law, David worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable J. Eric Elliffe in the 2nd Judicial District of Colorado and represented clients in family law and immigration matters as a student lawyer at the Civil Practice Clinic. David also participated in trial trials and drafting deals, and advised entrepreneurs, investors and small businesses as a member of the Venture Capital Club.

David was born and raised in Indiana, he is a passionate fan of motorsport and basketball, although since he moved to Colorado, he has developed a special attachment to hockey. In his spare time, David can often be seen cycling, hiking and exploring the Front Field with his dog, cheering for Nuggets and Avalanche at the Ball Arena, or playing and recording music in his garage studio.
