George was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in Druid Hills and graduate from Druid Hills High School. He attended university and law school at the University of Georgia. During law school, George interned for Judge J. Owen Forrester of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

George started his legal career as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of Clayton County and then as a litigation associate at a boutique insurance defense firm of Bentley, Karesh and Seacrest (the law firm of the father of Ryan Seacrest, celebrity and host of American Idol). He quickly gained a reputation as a skilled attorney. After a few years, he started his own law practice in Clayton County, just south of Atlanta. On the court appointed indigent defense list in Clayton County, he quickly gained a reputation as a trial lawyer fiercely dedicated to his clients. He obtained many felony acquittals. Since he focused his practice on DUI Defense and Personal Injury and moved his main office to downtown Atlanta, he has had over one hundred not guilty verdicts at DUI jury trials and has had many, many more cases reduced from DUI to reckless driving or dismissed outright. George has a reputation with prosecutors, insurance defense attorneys, insurance adjusters and police as a formidable opponent who is always ready for trial. Some prosecutors offices have instituted policies of assigning only their most senior attorneys' to George's cases because of his ability in the courtroom. But George has not limited himself to DUI and Criminal defense, he has also tried many personal injury cases, premises liability, workers compensation and even federal civil rights and discrimination trials. He has tried at least two federal civil jury trials that exceeded one week to verdict including one case where the jury awarded punitive damages. It is quite rare in federal court to even survive the summary judgment stage in punitive damages claims. George is a lawyer who always is looking to give back to his community through pro bono and charitable activities. George has been active in the Kiwanis Club in Morrow for years, a Deacon at his church for over 6 years, a member the Clayton County Law Library Board as well as many other boards and charitable affiliations. For years, George has worked tirelessly representing Fulton County Sheriff's Deputy Cynthia Hall without any attorney's fees insuring that she be protected from Fulton County government which has done everything in its power to strip her of vital benefits such as basic as trips to church and to the store. Hall was the only surviving victim during the 2005 Atlanta Courthouse Shootings by Brian Nichols in Atlanta, Georgia. However, she was left permanently injured. He also frequently takes on clients who are less fortunate and takes their criminal matters to trial with little or no hope of ever being paid a reasonable fee. He does this occasionally to make sure that even the less fortunate get the justice and often takes these cases to jury verdict. In short, George is a small firm lawyer who stands for everything a great about our legal profession.
