David Harman focuses his practice on personal injury, mass tort, and class action litigation. David has considerable experience representing individuals in complex product liability cases against the world's largest pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers. For example, David was significantly involved in the Yaz/Yasmin (Drospirenone) product liability lawsuit (MDL2100), representing women who suffered injuries as a result of Bayer's use of oral contraceptives. David also helped represent hundreds of children who suffered from birth defects caused by Depakote drugs. David has also worked on Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) product liability litigation (MDL2545), Fosamax product liability litigation (MDL1789), and contaminated heparin litigation.

Outside of mass tort, David has experience representing individuals in a variety of personal injury claims, including car crashes, trucking accidents, and defective products.

Prior to coming to Burg Simpson, David received his juris doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2011 and graduated from magna cum laude with the honor of litigation concentration. While at law school, David was expelled from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio for Professor Emeritus Peter C. Economus and was a member of the school's National Moot Court team.
