Jacob M. Burg - Lawyer in Englewood, CO

Our shareholder, Jacob M. Burg's practice is focused on personal injury lawsuits. Burg is a professor at Sturm College Of Law at the University of Denver. D. It was a great experience for me. At the University of Denver, he served as vice president of the Student Trial Bar Association. Burg is currently a member of the Craig Hospital PUSH event planning committee and has been actively involved since 2018. Craig Hospital is world-renowned as the premier center for specialist rehabilitation and research for people with spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries Denver's Burg is also a member of the Colorado Bar Association's Arbitration Committee on Legal Fees.

Prior to joining Burg Simpson, he served as a legal intern in the legal counsel office of Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper. In 2011, he received a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Michigan. While at the University of Michigan, he served in Washington, D.C., for Senator Mark Udall. C. He interned at the 2008 Democratic National Convention and served as a finance intern on the Democratic National Convention Host Committee.

Since 2021, Best Lawyers of America has recognized Jacob as «something to watch,» and he was also recognized by his peers as a rising star of the Colorado Super Lawyers. These are prestigious awards that are given to up-and-coming young lawyers.  In addition, Jacob Burg was named the «up-and-coming Lawyer» of 2018 by Law Week Colorado, and was also named the Top 40under40 by trial lawyers across the country.
