Representative examples include representing underwriters in the financing of a methanol facility in Texas, solid waste disposal facilities in Florida and Mississippi, a $1.8 billion nitrogen-based fertilizer production plant in Lee County, Iowa. In addition, I have represented various clients on project financings for proton cancer treatment facilities in Georgia and Maryland.

Economic Development

I have represented industrial development agencies and borrowers in numerous transactions granting state and local tax exemptions, including sales tax abatements, mortgage recording tax exemptions and payment-in-lieu of tax agreements. I have worked with municipalities and developers to structure tax benefit packages that encourage private sector growth while providing additional tax revenue to municipalities.
