Andra J. Hedrick - Lawyer in Nashville, TN

Andra Hedrick is an estate attorney in GSRMs Wills, Trusts and Estates Section. She represents fiduciaries, beneficiaries and creditors in probate court. Andra focuses primarily on complex estates, trusts and conservatorships, including those in litigation.

Andra is a frequent writer and speaker on the law of estates, most notably as a co-author of Pritchard on Wills and Administration of Estates and as an Instructor of Estate Planning at the Nashville School of Law.

Andra is dedicated to the understanding and improvement of estate law. She is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC), a group focused on estate law nationwide. Closer to home, Andra serves as a member of the Tennessee Bar Associations Probate Study Group, which evaluates and recommends estate legislation in Tennessee, and serves as co-chair of the Nashville Bar Associations Probate Court Committee.

Before joining GSRM in 2000, Andra served as a judicial law clerk at both the trial and appellate court levels. As a law student, Andra clerked for Judge Donn Southern (ret.), Probate Judge for Shelby County, Tennessee. Upon graduation, she completed two years of service with Judge David R. Farmer (ret.) of the Tennessee Court of Appeals.
