Nelson P. Boyle - Lawyer in Englewood, CO

Nelson is from Arvada, Colorado. His civil litigation practice focuses on appeals, business, insurance malice, and personal injury litigation. Nelson joined Burg Simpson in 2013 and ran his own company a few years later. Third World History at Temple University (B. A. in 1997, he studied American History at the State University of New Mexico. A. In 2000, he studied at the University of California, Berkeley. Nelson is a graduate of the University of Denver's Starm College of Law. D. He received a law degree in 2007. He has practiced in the Colorado Trial Court, the Colorado Appeals Court, the Colorado Supreme Court, and the United States. Colorado District Court, US Federal Claims Court, Tenth Circuit Court of Appeal, and US Supreme Court.

Nelson recently completed an 8-year service as commissioner of the Judicial Performance Committee of Colorado's Second Judicial District, including a 2-year term as Chairman. The chairman of the Colorado House of Representatives appointed him twice to that committee. Nelson is a board member of the American Judicial Association's Amicus Curiosity Committee and the Colorado Court Bar Association, and co-chair of the Amicus Curiosity Committee from 2010 to 2018 and is currently an honorary chair.  Nelson is currently chair of the CLE Committee of the Colorado Bar Association Appeals Sub-Section. Nelson enjoys skiing, hiking and camping with his family.
