Hanshas represented utilities in power purchase disputes and environmentalinsurance actions, and has successfully represented large property owners andcondominium associations in property tax litigation that reduced Grand Listvalues by hundreds of millions of dollars.

Prior to KenlanSchwiebert Facey Goss, Hans served as General Counsel and CorporateSecretary for the Home Service Store (HSS), providing commercial litigation andadministration services, and construction, contract and employment lawservices. Before joining HSS, Hans served as Senior Corporate Counsel forCentral Vermont Public Service Corporation, Vermonts largest utility.

Hans isa 1980 graduate of the University of Vermont and a 1991 graduate of the VermontLaw School from which he earned a J.D. and a Masters in Environmental Law.
