Ari N. Stern is a founding member of OHagan Meyers Boston office. He is also a founding member of the firms Franchise Law Practice Group, a team of highly-skilled practitioners that has both the comprehensive experience and capability of representing franchise clients in transactions and disputes throughout the United States and internationally.

Ari specializes in representing franchisors of both two-tier and three-tier systems, master franchisees/regional franchisors, franchisees (multi-unit and single unit), and franchisee associations in a wide range of commercial and employment disputes. Acting as a trusted advisor, Ari, who is also a trained mediator, utilizes a pragmatic, interest-based approach to assisting clients identify opportunities and navigate obstacles in litigations, arbitrations, and mediations. Clients also retain Ari to negotiate and draft agreements, perform internal investigations, advise on risk management, and act as settlement counsel.

Earlier in his career, Ari was associated with Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, PC. He also previously litigated cases as a Special Assistant District Attorney in the Roxbury section of Boston. Additionally, he previously served as General Counsel to a start-up affiliated with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Ari is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York, as well as before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Originally from Long Island, Ari resides in Greater Boston with his wife and two children.
