Prior to joining MBHB, he was on the management team for Fastmobile, UTStarcom and 3com, responsible for several large software engineering projects, and managed more than 75 software engineers. He is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and lectured on patent law at the Kent College of Law, Chicago. Dr. Borella is the inventor of more than 70 U.S. patent applications and has authored a similar number of academic and technical papers related to networking, telecommunications, and computer science.
