Christine E. Reinhard is a founding partner in the law firm of Schmoyer Reinhard LLP. Prior to forming Schmoyer Reinhard, Ms. Reinhard was a counsel in the San Antonio labor and employment law section of the international law firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer Feld LLP. Ms. Reinhard is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Experience

Ms. Reinhard's practice encompasses all aspects of labor and employment law. An active trial lawyer, she has defended employers in jury and bench trials and frequently litigates in court, as well as private arbitrations. She additionally assists employers in various preventative and non-litigation activities, such as:

• Counseling employers on strategic and complex employment policy and contractual issues
• Advising employers through governmental investigations and audits, including by such agencies as the Texas Workforce Commission, EEOC, DOL, and OFCCP
• Reviewing and preparing employment contracts and non-compete agreements
• Conducting in-house training on a variety of labor and employment-related topics

Besides representing employers in National Labor Relations Board proceedings, Ms. Reinhard also has guided employers through union negotiations and corporate campaigns. Ms. Reinhards representation in the traditional labor context has included both public and private entities.

During law school, Ms. Reinhard served as an intern for the Honorable Emilio M. Garza, U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the Volume 30 Executive Editor of the St. Mary's Law Journal. The National Association of Women Lawyers also named her the Outstanding Woman Law Graduate for St. Marys University in 1999.
