Sasha Grandison handles a variety of general litigation matters on behalf of contractors, property owners and property management companies in Labor Law, trip and fall, product defect and premises liability cases. She also has defended clients against a variety of construction defect and property damage claims, playing a key role from case inception through resolution.

In her construction practice, Sasha routinely defends New York State Labor Law cases involving falls, wall and ceiling collapses, falling objects, alleged violations of various sections of the New York State Industrial Code and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, and various other accident scenarios. She litigates issues related to contractual indemnification, construction contract interpretation and breach of contract, the applicability of Labor Law section 240(1), alter-ego and special employer relationships, and collateral estoppel, among others.

Sasha previously worked at a large-loss subrogation law firm successfully pursuing property damage claims as a result of product defect, negligence and construction defects in losses involving fires, floods and building collapses.

Sasha was a two-term editor in chief of Electronically In Touch, the electronic news-publication of the New York State Bar Association, Young Lawyers Section. During law school, Sasha was a Dean's Fellow for Academic Achievement and a published editor of the law review, and worked in the Low Income Tax Payer Clinic and the Community Development Clinic. She also interned at Black Entertainment Television in the Business and Legal Affairs Department and at Public Broadcasting Service in the Office of General Counsel.
