Bens practice focuses on business and real estate litigation, plaintiff's wrongful death and catastrophic personal injury, and general complex liability cases. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants, including corporate and individual clients, in state and federal court in a broad array of civil matters involving commercial contract disputes, business torts, real property and land use disputes, product liability, premises liability, and general negligence cases.

Prior to joining Lesemann Associates, Ben practiced at a large regional firm ranked in the AmLaw 200. Ben earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and law degree from the Charleston School of Law. While in law school, he served as a judicial extern to The Honorable Richard M. Gergel, United States District Court Judge for the District of South Carolina. Following law school and prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable George C. James, Jr., who was then a State Circuit Court Judge and has since been appointed to the Supreme Court of South Carolina.

Ben is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in South Carolina.
