Katherine Kayatta is an experienced litigator with significant trial experience in state and federal courts in Maine and Massachusetts, and focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and class action defense.

She also served as co-chair of an ABA working group tasked with presenting recommendations to the Fed. R. Civ. P. 23 Subcommittee of the Advisory Committee on Civil Rules at the ABAs Annual Institute on Class Actions on topics such as professional objectors to class settlements, issue classes, and cy pres awards.

For the past five years, she has partnered with the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project (PAIR) representing numerous pro bono clients seeking asylum in the United States. Katherine has also volunteered her time in Maine's public schools, serving as the moderator for oral arguments held by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court at Cape Elizabeth High School in 2013.
