Robert M. (Bobby) Preston is a partner and Co-Chair of Greenspoon Marders Matrimonial and Family Law practice group in New York. For over 25 years, Mr. Preston has handled highly complex domestic relations cases and appeals. He has conducted a substantial number of custody and financial trials relating to all phases of family law in the Supreme and Family Courts in New York City and its surrounding counties. He has represented individuals from all walks of life including celebrities, professional athletes, CEOs of Fortune 500 companies, elected officials and executives in the finance sector such as hedge funds, private equity firms and investment banks. He practices in the courts of all five boroughs of New York City, Westchester County and both Nassau and Suffolk Counties, where he practiced exclusively for the first 10 years of his career.

Mr. Preston is a Fellow of the New York Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) as co-chair of the Family Court Subcommittee. He also serves by appointment as Chair of the Legislative Subcommittee for the Matrimonial Committee of the New York City Bar. From 1997-2000, he was an investigator/ member of the Committee on Grievances for the Nassau County Bar Association.

Mr. Preston is a frequent lecturer at CLE programs around New York hosted by the AAML, NYSBA, as well as the New York Law Journal.
