He was the President of the Young Lawyers Division and he served as a member of the General Council to the State Bar Association. Mr. Ritter was a member of the Bergen County Ethics Committee. He also served on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Character for eleven years, serving as the Chairman of Bergen, Passaic and Hudson Counties and as a member of the Statewide Panel. Mr. Ritter was a member of the BCBA Judicial Appointments Committee for sixteen years.
