Grace has tried over 50 trials to jury verdict, handled multiple appeals and several commercial arbitrations. Most of her cases are medical malpractice, catastrophic injuries, fiduciary litigation, employment and other commercial litigation. Grace's practice has been limited to civil litigation for her entire 25-year career. She founded Wood, Thacker Weatherly, P.C. with her partner, Bill Wood, in 1996. The firm is now known as Wood Weatherly Trial Law. Grace is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Personal Injury Trial Law (2000) and Labor Employment Law (1999). She is a certified medical malpractice specialist by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys.
