Stewart M. Casper - Lawyer in Stamford, CT

Mr. Casper is a PastPresident of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association (CTLA) and he has servedon the CTLA Board of Governors since 1987. He serves on CTLA's, Legislative,Amicus Curiae, Medical Malpractice, Public Relations, and Fund Raisingcommittees and he served on every Executive Committee of CTLA from 1990 -2010. In addition he served as an elected member of the Board of Governors of the American Association of Justice (AAJ formerly known as ATLA) from2006-2015. From 1999 to 2006 he was one ofConnecticuts two State Delegates to AAJ. He is a former member of the MotorVehicle Automobile Insurance Coordination Committee and the Insurance OversightCommittee (Co-Chairperson) of AAJ. He served on AAJ's Public Affairs Committeeand National Finance Council from 2006-2015. He is a member of AAJs Professional LiabilitySection and in 2010 he was the Chairperson of AAJ's Traumatic BrainInjury Litigation Group. From 2005 -10 he was the Editor-in-Chief of the«Traumatic Brain Injury Litigation Group Newsletter.» He is a memberof the Brain Injury Alliance of Connecticut (formerly the BrainInjury Association of Connecticut), the Brain Injury Association of America,the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.He also serves on the Legal Advisory Board of the Sarah Jane Brain Foundation.Casper is a nationally recognized lecturer on traumatic brain injury and trialpractice and he is a Co-Chair of the annual Legal Issues in Brain Injury program for the North American Brain Injury Society.
