Steve Miano is a shareholder in and heads the environmentallaw practice group at Hangley, Aronchick, Segal, Pudlin Schiller in itsPhiladelphia, PA office. He has beenpracticing environmental law for over 30 years. His practice includes all facets of environmental law and litigation,with a significant concentration on issues arising under the Clean Water Act, CERCLAand equivalent state statutes. Before entering private practice, Steve was anAssistant Regional Counsel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, RegionIII. He has served as an adjunctprofessor of law at Rutgers Law School and is a frequent author and speaker onwater quality issues. Steve is a formerChair of the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy, andResources. He currently chairs the Sections WOTUS Working Group, which isresponsible for the WOTUS Web page. Steve is a Fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. He received his BS in Environmental Studies at the George WashingtonUniversity and his JD at the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
