Alan N. Zvibleman is a founding member of The Center for Family Law? a small firm focused on solving family law issues. Alan believes in giving honest and realistic advice.
Since he began practicing in 1979, Alans first priority with cases has been to work with his clients in identifying their individual, realistic goals and ultimately achieving those goals. Alan fully understands that his clients may be going through one of the most traumatic times of their lives. He is considered by clients and colleagues to be a voice of reason and common sense.
Throughout his career, Alan has represented a variety of professionals in family law matters. Many accountants, doctors, dentists, mental health professionals, and attorneys can count themselves as former clients. In addition to representing these professionals and their spouses, Alan has advocated for business owners, managers and their spouses in both contested cases and in settlements.
Alan represents clients in a variety of family law issues, including high asset divorce cases, complex custody cases, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and modification of maintenance and/or child support orders. In addition to representing clients in traditional litigation cases, Alan was a founding member of the Collaborative Family Law Association (CFLA) in St. Louis and is a highly skilled mediator.
Since 2012, Alan has been selected by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the area of family law and, in 2016, was named «Lawyer of the Year» for the St. Louis area. He is a also a proud Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML), an organization that recognizes attorneys who demonstrate a high degree of competency in family law, have high ethical standards, and encourage peers to improve their practices. Alan has also received numerous other recognitions and awards, including having been named a Super Lawyer for the Missouri-Kansas area in the area of family law since 2006.
Alan is a past president of the Missouri Chapter of AAML and served as the Vice-Chair for the Family Section of the Missouri Bar. He served as the sole private family law practitioner appointed to the St. Louis County Domestic and Family Violence Council for over a decade. Alan previously served on the Board of Directors and Program Committee for Kids in the Middle, a non-profit organization that helps families thrive during and after divorce.
