Leveraging his experience as a former federal prosecutor, Jason Mehta advises companies and individuals on bet-the-company litigation and investigations. During his five years as a prosecutor, he recovered nearly a quarter of a billion dollars for the United States government through FCA suits and prosecuted dozens of companies and individuals. He was recognized in 2017 with the Department of Justices Director Award, one of the highest honors bestowed upon DOJ employees.

Jason also worked as an attorney-adviser for the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., where he led the departments responses to various Congressional investigations and represented the department in lawsuits throughout the country. One notable case he assisted with was the prosecution of Private First Class Chelsea Manning for her role in leaking classified information. In 2012, Jason was recognized with the departments Exemplary Service award.
