Most recently, I have represented a privately held commercial real estate developer in connection with the purchase and subsequent sale of a student housing facility and a privately held company with the acquisition of a number of entities.

Real property tax

On real property tax matters, I advise various taxpayers and not-for-profits on real estate tax appeals and other real property tax matters, including payments-in-lieu-of-tax agreements for commercial and industrial property owners, and real estate tax exemptions and tax abatements for not-for-profits and housing companies, including the assessment of affordable housing projects under Real Property Tax Law 581-a.
