At Cint and SNL, he conducted basic research on material growth, nanoscale manufacturing, and characterization of optoelectronic devices.
Dr. Jin is the inventor of U.S. Patents No. 7,755,079 and No. 8,293,566: A strained layer superlattice focal plane array with a planar structure.
