Andrew Brien joined the firm as an associate in 2016. He has represented policyholders in various interpretation and scope of coverage issues for insurance policies. Andrew offers advice for creditors for debt enforcement actions, as well as advice to loan originators for federal regulations. He has focused his litigation practice on events affecting landowners rights, expropriation and condemnation claims, and other property related disputes. In addition, Andrew represents employers in wage and hour litigation, and settles contract disputes in the representation of both operators and non-operating working interest owners in the oil and gas industry, in addition to lessees. In addition, he is a licensed Louisiana Property and Casualty Insurance Producer.
Andrew received his Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2013 from Louisiana State Universitys E.J. Ourso College of Business. He received his JD from Tulane University Law School in 2016 where he graduated cum laude. During his time at Tulane, he externed for the Honorable John L. Weimer at the Louisiana Supreme Court, was awarded a certificate for successful completion of Tulanes Admiralty Maritime Law Program, and worked as a summer law clerk under the firms clerkship program.
