He has served as counsel to ethics boards, pension boards, and as a hearing officer in due process and name-clearing proceedings. Tim enjoys assisting public sector clients with complex issues under the First Amendment and has litigated several high-profile cases under the First Amendment. In addition, he has litigated several collective and class action public sector benefits cases.
Before joining FMG, Tim served as an in-house employment counsel and litigator for the City of Atlanta and worked in the Labor and Employment and Public Sector Employment groups at Elarbee, Thompson, Sapp, Wilson, LLP? a management-side labor and employment firm. While in law school, he clerked for an EEOC administrative law judge, The Honorable Timothy Hagan. He also served as a student intern in the EEOCs Atlanta District Office evaluating claims of unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation and assisting the EEOCs litigation attorneys in enforcement proceedings.
