A lifelong Delaware resident with more than 25 years of experience practicing family law, Carl W. Heckert is a respected and long-time practitioner of divorce litigation and mediation. His family law practice includes divorce, property division, custody, child support, alimony, protection from abuse, as well as grandparent and stepparents rights. He is also a Certified Family Law Mediator in Delaware following the states inaugural certification program by the Family Court of the State of Delaware as well as the Delaware State Bar Association.
In addition, Carls business law practice specializes in corporation formation, sales of business and business assets. With settlements and refinances of both commercial and residential real estate in all three of Delawares counties and all Delaware courts, Carl has represented individuals and small to mid-sized businesses through real property purchase, sale as well as litigation of landlord/tenant disputes.
