Reid Morelli - Lawyer in Atlanta, GE

Reid Morelli is an insurance coverage and litigation attorney in Atlanta. He provides coverage advice to domestic and international insurers and also defends insurers and insureds in litigation. Reids practice focuses on commercial general liability, commercial litigation, professional liability, bad faith, and insurance defense. Reid also advises clients in intellectual property litigation and management of IP portfolios.

Prior to joining Fields Howell in 2020, Reid spent time at a large law firm working on complex business litigation matters and insurance coverage disputes. He routinely drafted coverage opinions for large insurance companies in both first-party and third-party property matters. In addition to his insurance coverage practice, Reid also has extensive experience in intellectual property matters for clients in the entertainment industry, non-profits, start-ups and more.

Reid graduated order of the coif from Emory University in 2017 in the top 10% of his class. While in law school, he gained legal experience serving as a legal extern for The Coco-Cola Company and The Atlanta Hawks. Before attending law school, he earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Furman University where he was also a member of the mens varsity tennis team. Outside of the office, Reid is an avid Atlanta sports fan and enjoys playing golf and long distance running.
