R. James "Jimmy" Young - Lawyer in Ridgeland, MS

R. James (Jimmy) Young was named to The Top 50 Mississippi attorneys 2010 and 2012 lists, having received one of the highest point totals in the Mid-South Super Lawyers nomination, research and blue ribbon review process. He was identified as one of the Top 50 Lawyers in Mississippi in the Leaders in Law 2011 by the Mississippi Business Journal. As a Best Lawyer in America for the past fifteen years, Jimmy was also named by his peers as the Best Lawyers in America 2013 Jackson, MS Trusts Estates «Lawyer of the Year». Jimmy practices primarily in the areas of estate planning and probate, elder law and business successions, and he is motivated by «a heart for working with families in a holistic approach to managing and transferring their wealth and in providing for their special needs. He particularly enjoys „the challenge of resolving the most difficult, complex and convoluted estate and trust administration issues. Jimmy spent six years early in his career as an Estate Tax Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service.
