Leslieand her partners developed a litigation firm that specialized in family law, criminaldefense, and employment law. She workedwith families as a guardian ad litem for children whose parents were divorcingand was regularly appointed to this position by Denver judges with whom she hadworked as a prosecutor. She representeddomestic violence victims and grandparents seeking custody of theirgrandchildren.
