Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Attorney Kevin S.W. Chee represents corporate clients throughout the United States in Hawaii insurance coverage cases. Mr. Chee has a distinguished reputation throughout the Hawaii legal community for his 33 years of legal experience, academic excellence, and trial expertise. As a founding member of Chee, Markham Feldman, he practices insurance defense litigation, real estate and construction law, and business and commercial law. Mr. Chee earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College in 1974, graduating magna cum laude as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He then earned his Juris Doctor degree from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California in 1977. After completing law school, Mr. Chee was admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. In 1978, Mr. Chee returned to Hawaii and was admitted to practice by the Hawaii State Judiciary and the U.S District Court for the District of Hawaii. Since then, he has also been admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
