Maureen T. Bass is a partner and co-chair of the firm's Restructuring, Bankruptcy and Creditor Protection Law Group at Abrams Fensterman, LLP.

Ms. Bass has more than 20 years of practice experience in bankruptcy, corporate restructuring, creditors' rights, financial services, commercial and corporate litigation, labor and general business law. It represents the interests of business entities, as well as their secured and unsecured creditors, their shareholders and principals inside and outside of bankruptcy, as well as committees of creditors, trustees and buyers in bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings throughout the United States.

Ms. Bass also has significant experience in negotiating, litigation and dispute resolution arising under the Prevention Act, the Federal Securities and Exchange Act, the New York Officers and Directors Act, the New York Partnership Act, the RICO Laws, HIPPA and the New York Debtors and Creditors Act. In addition, Ms. Bass represents creditors and special services and has prosecuted many large commercial foreclosures in New York State.

Ms. Bass received her doctorate in law from Syracuse University College of Law and is a member of the Order of the Hairstyle.
