Kenneth T. "Ken" Watkins - Lawyer in Southfield, MI

Ken Watkins isan accomplished trial attorney and Senior Shareholder with Sommers Schwartz.Over the course of his career, he has obtained numerous multimillion-dollarsettlements on behalf of the clients hes been proud to represent. Outside of thepractice, Ken is known for giving back to the community. He has spoken on multipleoccasions at the Detroit Public Schools Career Days, serves on board of directorsfor Urban Solutions, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing scholarshipsto inner-city youths each year. Ken was a charter member and trustee for theMotor City Optimist Club, assisting area youth through community activities andorganizational empowerment and previously served as co-president of the BrotherRice High School Dads Club and participated on its board of directors forthree years.

The Oakland SchoolsEducation Foundation works to enhance and enrich learning opportunities forstudents in Oakland Schools and its constituent districts by buildingconnections between business and education throughout Southeastern Michigan. Ken also gives back by allowing high schoolstudents, over summer break, to shadow aspects of the legal profession andexposes them to general and expected business practices.
