Christopher Staine is a director in the firms Dallas office. He is an experienced litigator that represents individuals and companies in a wide range of commercial disputes in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts throughout the country. Christopher focuses his litigation practice in the areas of commercial, bankruptcy, banking, creditors rights, and oil and gas litigation. He regularly advises clients in matters involving breach of contract, fraud, negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, consumer protection statute violations, foreclosures, replevins, evictions, receiverships, loan workouts and restructurings, post-judgment executions and collections, and foreign judgment domestications. Christopher also regularly represents clients, including secured lenders and trade creditors, in bankruptcy-related matters, such as fraudulent and preferential transfer adversary proceedings, automatic stay relief proceedings, and plan confirmation objections. He prides himself on bringing a balanced and pragmatic approach to every matter to create value for his clients, both inside and outside the courtroom.

A champion of diversity and inclusion, Christopher serves as chair of the firms Diversity Committee and is actively involved in many of the firms diversity initiatives at the national and local levels.

Active in the community, Christopher is an advisory board member for Together We Thrive, a Texas based nonprofit organization that walks beside at-risk, homeless youth across North Texas to help them rewrite their futures and replace labels of loneliness and hopelessness with community and opportunity. He also serves on the board of directors for the First Tee of Metropolitan Oklahoma City, a nonprofit organization that teaches life skills to adolescents in the Oklahoma City area through the game of golf.

Prior to joining Crowe Dunlevy, Christopher earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. At OU Law, he was honored with the Joel Jankowsky Award, which recognizes the graduating student who exemplifies the highest standard of excellence in leadership, scholarship, and selfless service to others. Christopher completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with distinction.
