Amember of DiTrapano Barrett DiPiero McGinley Simmons, PLLC, Tim DiPiero spent six years (1977?1983) as an assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia in Charleston, WVbefore entering private practice. Prior to his tenure with DiTrapanoBarrett DiPiero McGinley Simmons, PLLC, he was a Member of DiTrapano Jackson which he joined in 1983, and also DiTrapano Barrett DiPiero, PLLC.

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1971 andearning his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Lawin 1975, Mr. DiPiero served as a law clerk to Charles H. Haden, II forseven months while Judge Haden was Chief Justice of the West VirginiaSupreme Court of Appeals. He clerked for another 18 months when JudgeHaden was appointed to the federal bench as the U.S. District Judge forthe Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.

Tim was a visiting professor for the American College ofRome, Rome, Italy in 1982, and has lectured in continuing legaleducation seminars since that time.
