Job Fickett is an experienced litigator and problem-solver. Jobs practice is centered on offering creative and effective legal and business solutions in his primary practice areas of construction litigation, employment law, and high-stakes business and commercial disputes. Job also routinely serves as outside general counsel to entrepreneurs and small/midsized businesses. Prior to joining Taylor Day, Job was an attorney at a regional business litigation boutique, and he started his career at a nationwide firm with a vast array of practice areas.
In law school, Job graduated at the top of his class and served as both Executive Editor of the Florida Coastal Law Review and President of the Moot Court Honor Board, which was ranked #1 among all law schools in the country during his tenure. Upon graduation, Jobs peers elected him to deliver the Student Commencement Address. He double-majored in History and Criminal Justice at the University of Charlotte, where he was a leading advocate on the student and alumni committee that convinced the Board of Trustees and Athletics Director to start a Division-I Football Program.
Job is admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. He is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
Job and his wife Julie have one daughter and one dog. In his spare time, Job loves hosting and cooking dinner parties, studying wines and winemaking techniques from around the world, and freelance journalism about golf and popular culture. His essays, podcast appearances, and course reviews have been featured by No Laying Up, The Golfers Journal, and the Radio Ga Ga Podcast.
