Brian has more than 30 years of experience representing foreign and domestic corporations, airlines, type certificate holders, PMA holders, drone manufacturers and airports in the coordination and defense of complex, multidistrict and class action litigation.

What do you focus on?

I currently serve as national and international litigation defense counsel for aircraft and helicopter type certificate holders in connection with foreign and domestic accident investigations, regulatory investigations, wrongful death, personal injury and property damage suits in the United States and Canada.

I have also represented FAR Part 135 and Part 121 regional, domestic and international airlines, cargo airlines and freight forwarders, aircraft avionics and component part manufacturers, FAR Part 145 aviation maintenance and repair facilities, international airports, fixed base operators, and aircraft equipment and finance entities.

I have counseled clients in more than 100 National Transportation Safety Board accident investigations and in a number of high-profile NTSB Public Hearings and FAA enforcement actions. I have also represented clients before the Federal Aviation Administration in connection with regulatory matters and HAZMAT issues.

I am an FAA-licensed Airline Transport Pilot and a Certified Flight and Ground Instructor with ratings for single (CFI) and multiengine aircraft (MEI) as well as instrument aircraft (CFII). I have accumulated in excess of 6,000 hours of flight time in a variety of aircraft ranging from single-engine trainers to multiengine turboprop and jet aircraft.
