Mergers and Acquisition

I represent both buyers and sellers in the purchase and sale of businesses in a wide range of industries including health services, life sciences, food and beverage and technology. Most recently, I worked with a diverse team of Nixon Peabody attorneys in the representation of a Connecticut hospital in its acquisition of a Rhode Island hospital system.

Hospital/Physician Integration

I work with many New York-based hospitals and private practices in their integration. These transactions involve complex legal and business issues as the parties attempt to adapt to changes in health care regulations and economics.

Private Equity

I handle all phases of a private equity firms investment in a portfolio company including add-on acquisitions and exit transactions. Most recently, my focus has honed in on investments in health care management companies, which requires a deep understanding of the health care laws and regulations that place restrictions on certain PE investments.
