Richard D. Eckhard is the head of the Tampa office realestate group. Mr Eckhard's practice focuses on office and retail real estatedevelopment, leasing, acquisition and disposition. He represents national andregional landlords and tenants in connection with office buildings, shoppingcenters and mixed?use properties. He also handles synthetic and leveragedleases.

Mr. Eckhard is the incoming chair of The Florida Bar Real Property LeasingCommittee. Since 2007, he has served as a member of the faculty of GeorgetownUniversity Law Center's Advanced Commercial Leasing Institute and frequentlylectures on real estate transaction topics. Mr. Eckhard is Board Certified inReal Estate Law in Florida and is a member of the Real Estate Advisory Board ofBergstrom Center for Real Estate Studies at the University of Florida.
