Evan M. Janush is the Managing Attorney of the New Yorkoffice. In addition to his administrative role within the firm, Mr. Janushoversees commercial litigation for The Lanier Law Firms New York office and heis the practice group leader of the firms employment litigation practice. Mr.Janush has significant experience representing clients in complex commerciallitigation, pharmaceutical mass tort litigation, antitrust and class-actionlitigation, and representing employees in discrimination and whistlebloweractions.

Mr. Janush has earned recognition among the New York SuperLawyers for five consecutive years for his work in the firms pharmaceuticaland product liability mass tort practice areas. Mr. Janush has participated insenior roles in numerous multi-district litigations, and he has represented therights of individuals who have been injured by defective products, toxic torts,and general negligence. Mr. Janush is also a member of the firms Sports andEntertainment practice area due to his significant contract drafting andlitigation experience, which includes having been involved in contractlitigation concerning several major record label disputes.

Mr. Janushs work has involved significant appeals, legalmotions and oral arguments that have supported trial verdicts in excess of $450million, in addition to achieving numerous multi-million-dollar settlements. In2010, Mr. Janush was honored as one of the Top 100 trial lawyers in New York bythe National Trial Lawyers Association, and he received this distinction againin 2011 and 2012.

Mr. Janush is licensed to practice law in New York andConnecticut, and he is admitted to practice in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals,Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Southern District of New York, Eastern Districtof New York, District of Connecticut, Eastern District of Michigan, NorthernDistrict of Illinois, Eastern District of Texas, and the Eastern and WesternDistricts of Arkansas. Mr. Janush has been granted pro hac vice admission tothe District of New Jersey, the New Jersey Appellate Division, and the NewJersey Superior Court.

Mr. Janush is a 1998 graduate of Yeshiva University,Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review andPresident of the Student Bar Association. He received his undergraduate degreesumma cum laude in 1995 from the University of Connecticut where he was thePresident of the Student Government Association at the Stamford campus. Priorto joining The Lanier Law Firm, Mr. Janush practiced law at the firms of Weitz Luxenberg and Jenkens Gilchrist Parker Chapin.
