By appointment of the chief judgeof the Second Circuit, Mr. Raabe has served on the Reappointment Committee forConnecticuts federal defender, and the chief judge of the Connecticut districtcourt appointed him to chair the United States Magistrate ReappointmentCommittee in Connecticut. In 2012, the Connecticut district court judgesselected Mr. Raabe for the districts Pro Bono Award for his service toindigent clients.
