Elliot completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with special distinction.

Elliot is admitted to practice law in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. In addition to his work at Crowe Dunlevy, Elliot has served as a judicial law clerk to Edith H. Jones, Chief Judge of the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Before attending law school he spent two years teaching English at ChangAn University in Xian, China.
