Judson A. "Jud" Waltman - Lawyer in Houston, TX

Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the TexasBoard of Legal Specialization, Jud Waltman is the Managing Attorney in Houstonover Personal Injury, Product Liability and MaritimeLitigation.

Mr. Waltman joined The Lanier Law Firm in 2002 and limitshis practice almost exclusively to the representation of individuals who arevictims of injury or death. He handles cases involving commercial truckcollisions, product liability, medical malpractice as well as a focus onworkplace injuries and oil field accidents. He has tried numerous cases toverdict including receiving one of the largest verdicts in the history of WardCounty, for an injured oilfield worker. He produced two of the firms largestsettlements on behalf of clients who were catastrophically injured bycommercial carriers.

Jud has also been awarded the prestigious AV-PreeminentRating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest level of professional excellence.

A native of Lufkin, Texas, Mr. Waltman attended BaylorUniversity where he earned his undergraduate degree in History and Spanish in1993. He received his law degree and graduated, with honors, from Texas TechUniversity School of Law in 1996.

Jud was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1996. Soonafter he was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit, and the U.S.District Court, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas. He is furtherlicensed to practice in New York State.
